Tommy Tipton is a 2005 graduate of the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences Dental Hygiene Program. He has been in practice for over 18 years and has maintained a commitment to constant learning and improvement. He describes his practice philosophy as an amalgamation of every good idea he's ever heard. Dr. Alex Sharp, President of Shared Practices, and Tommy became professionally acquainted in 2017 and quickly developed into a dynamic working team. During this time, Dr. Sharp recognized Tommy's unique ability to communicate and connect with his patients and his peers. Through a series of training and implementations, Sharp Family Dentistry experienced record growth in their hygiene department under Tommy's leadership. As a result of this success, Tommy was asked to serve as Shared Practices Hygiene Coach, and has been doing so since 2021. Tommy is passionate about clinical care and loves teaching and sharing, and is excited about the opportunity to help his fellow clinicians grow and succeed at being the very best dental hygienists, patient advocates, and leaders they can be.
