Futun N. Alkhalifah, BSDH, MSDH, is an accomplished dental hygienist, researcher, and lecturer with over nine years of experience in dental hygiene, working at the dental health department at King Saud University (KSU) in Saudi Arabia. Ms. Alkhalifah is a certified ITOP educator by Curaden Academy and is dedicated to implementing the ITOP concept in both academic and clinical settings. As a member of the curriculum development committee for the advanced dental hygiene program, she works to integrate the ITOP concept into the dental hygiene curriculum. In clinical practice, Ms. Alkhalifah is committed to providing patient-centered care through the ITOP approach to promote lifelong oral health practices. With a passion for organizing continuing education events, Ms. Alkhalifah is a valuable member of the continuing education committees of the Saudi Dental and Dental Hygiene Societies. Currently pursuing a Ph.D. in the Health Services Research Program, she is focused on improving access to oral health care for low-income populations. Ms. Alkhalifah is a published author in dental hygiene journals and has gained recognition as an international speaker at various events.
