Susan has worked clinically in private practice and in public health. She is a passionate speaker, author, trainer, and subject matter expert on HPV, oral and oropharyngeal cancer screening. As owner of Oral Cancer Consulting, she coaches dental offices to implement oral cancer office systems based on the “Cotten MethodTM, that builds consistency and confidence in the head and neck, oral, oropharyngeal cancer evaluation, empowers the team, and aids in early detection and reducing liability. She is 2018 Sunstar/RDH Award of Distinction recipient. Because of a neck injury and journey with disability insurance, her goal is to help other RDH’s know the importance of disability insurance and what to look for when purchasing disability insurance.
