Learning Objectives: 

  • Attendees will understand current ADA evidence-based clinical recommendations for at-home fluoride for moderate and high caries risk patients.
  • Attendees will understand how to properly and economically dose and refill Rx at-home topical fluoride for moderate and high-risk patients.
  • Attendees will understand the new 2021 CDT code D1355 and how clinicians can use Silver Diamine Fluoride for in-office prevention for high-risk tooth surfaces.

 

In this 60-minute, Invite-Only Course, attendees will take it back to the basics and re-emphasize the importance of Caries Risk Assessments, using new teledentistry-compatible tools to improve case acceptance for caries prevention protocols.  Additionally, the prevention protocols, based on CAMBRA principles and ADA evidence-based recommendations, include the latest research and CDT codes, including D1355 (Silver Diamine Fluoride for prevention), D0601, D0602, and D0603 caries risk assessment codes, and dispensing strategies for cost-effective and appropriate dosing prescription writing.
