Description

Objectives

After participating in this workshop, the participant should be able to:

  1. The new iTero Element 5D features including NIRI technology and how a comprehensive scan can improve patient experiences
  2. Develop your own streamlined and improved clinical workflow
  3. Identify opportunities in your practice where the intraoral scanning can have a positive impact in the post-COVID hygiene environment
  4. Describe device capabilities for case presentation application

Hygienists have a new, powerful tool to offer patients a complete visual picture of their oral conditions with the iTero Element 5D imaging system.  An all-in-one scanner, the iTero Element 5D features near infrared imaging (NIRI) to aid in the detection of interproximal caries, elevating a patient’s chairside educational experience.  With one integrated scan, hygienists can assess malocclusion, monitor oral changes over time with TimeLapse* technology and drive treatment acceptance – all at chairside.  The latest addition to the iTero Element family of scanners also integrates intraoral camera capabilities, capturing images that can be exported for a more efficient workflow.  This session will give you an opportunity to see the scanner in action and discover how this new technology can change your approach to hygiene. Further, as a workshop, participants will have an interactive learning experience in case presentation.
