Course Description: This hands-on live Laser workshop is designed to create confidence and clinical understanding in the delivery of periodontal treatment protocols by using a Diode Laser. Working with simulation exercises you will learn the specifics of laser fiber optic delivery, and discover the delicate nature of using a laser device.

Workshop Objectives:

• Discover the difference in laser capability between Doctor “Hot” Laser Settings vs. Dental Hygiene “Warm” Laser Settings while using a diode laser in the class.
• Work with the variables of laser energy protocols as they apply to the treatment of Gingivitis, and the Stages of Periodontitis.
• Experience the specifics of initiated and bare fiber tip applications for treating the periodontal infections.
