  • Apply business literacy skills to understand and communicate key hygiene KPIs, and align clinical protocols with both patient outcomes and practice profitability.
  • Use data-driven, solutions-focused language to influence owners, corporate leaders, and policymakers without creating conflict.
  • Implement evidence-based, time-savvy protocols including biofilm control, adjunctive therapies, and diagnostic tools to elevate care without compromising efficiency.
  • Adopt a “Magnet-for-Hygiene” practice model to safeguard scope of practice, improve retention, and strengthen dental hygiene’s role in oral-systemic health.
